ATTN: Prichard Water Works Retirees

ATTN: If you are receiving pension benefits from Prichard Water Works it is not subject to State of Alabama taxes because it is a defined benefit plan. Many tax preparers and recipients are not aware of this and are paying too much in taxes to Alabama. I suggest you review your past returns and amend them if you included any amount from this pension plan in income on the Alabama tax return. If you need help or would like a free review of your tax situation, contact us.
